The family of Mark Middleton, a senior adviser to former US President Bill Clinton, has revealed that he is lifeless about 50 miles from his home in Arkansas, USA. The family petitioned the court to prevent the publication of information about the father of the family under the Freedom of Information Act.
The Arkansas local sheriff said he could not speak or release any details about Middleton’s death a month ago on May 7.
“The investigation is still open. I can say nothing more,” County Sheriff Scott Montgomery told the Daily Mail. Middleton, a father of two who served as a special aide to President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, was found lifeless at age 59, his family announced. His death adds to the number of relatives of the former president who died unexpectedly, many in small plane crashes. The phenomenon has led to a conspiracy theory called the Clinton Body Count that even has its own Wikipedia page.

Middleton’s family did not disclose the cause of death at the time, but authorities later confirmed that the former White House adviser was found lifeless on a municipal farm in Friville, Arkansas. Middleton’s life in recent years has been far from the political circles he faced during the 1990s. He has been in the air conditioning business for the past few years. Middleton left the White House in February 1995 and was accused of defining himself as a mediator and making international connections, in 1996 a White House inquiry found that Middleton had abused his approach to impress business clients, Middleton denied the allegations.
