Sri Lanka’s XI announced for the first T20 match

The Australian team has gone on a long tour to Sri Lanka. The series between Sri Lanka and Australia will be played in 3 T20s, 5 ODIs and 2 Tests.

The first T20 match takes place today (June 7). As all teams are actively preparing for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia later this year, it is very important for every team to continue with the T20. As such, both teams are on the verge of winning the series.

Sri Lanka’s XI has been announced today as the Australian squad for the first T20 match in Colombo is announced today.

Nishanka and Dhanushka Gunathilaka will be the opening batsmen for the Sri Lankan team led by Tashun Shanaka. Sarith Asalanga descends in the 3rd row. Rajapaksa has been selected as the middle order batsman who has been included in the Audi return squad for the Punjab Kings team in the IPL.

Both Hasaranga and Mahesh Deekshna are playing as spinners. Fast bowlers Dushmantha Sameera, Samika Karunaratne and Nuwan Dushara are playing.
