Leaked images of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra reveal the Leica-branded camera module

by time news

Last week, a leaked Digital Chat Station revealed that the back panel of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature the Leica logo. Now, we have some leaked images of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which gives us a better look at it.

In a collaboration between OnLeaks and Zoutonus, the following renders show the supposed design of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship phone. The renderings shown confirm a previously leaked image of the alleged 12 Ultra camera matrix cutout. Despite having eight holes, the 12 Ultra appears to have four rear cameras.

Previous rumors suggested that the 12 Ultra will have the same three cameras as the Mi 11 Ultra, but looking at the camera array shown in the renderings, there is a fourth camera – possibly a secondary imaging unit.

Zoutonus reports that the main camera is 50MP while both the periscope and ultra-wide cameras use 48MP sensors. Meanwhile, the front camera is a center-slit selfie snapper with a 20MP sensor.
