mr. Ir. LF Hazelzet died on 7 February 2022 from the effects of Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. He studied Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1958 to 1963. He started his career at IBM before successfully founding and expanding his own automation company, Info’Products. He had a warm heart for TU Delft and the university’s scientific research. Because of the major impact that Alzheimer’s disease/Vascular dementia had on the last 16 years of his life, his relatives find it important to support the research ‘Algorithms against Alzheimer’ at TU so that treatment of dementia can be made possible in the future. become.
