What to see tonight: The Netflix gameplay is so dumb that it’s brilliant

by time news

If you make the mistake of directing TV tonight to one of the broadcast channels, you will probably encounter a strictly reality show, with the opening of the new season of “Big Brother” on Network 13, and a dramatic episode of “Wedding at First Sight” in Arc 12. It’s okay, you can watch what For you, we are not judges (in our lives. We will even have summaries of the two episodes tomorrow morning), but if you still feel like something a little different, we have an alternative. No, not something smart. For this there are plenty of other recommendations from the last few days. Today on the menu you deserve something goofy and pan especially.

>> Yesterday we saw a behind-the-scenes series of a reality show that we mentioned, just like that, regardless of the signer

When two years ago the first season of the show “The Burning Track” (Floor Is Lava, a much better name than the Hebrew version) came out, we were deep in the corona plague, exhausted and slowly losing our sanity, and this stupid show was a needy lifeline. Older people trying to cross a room with a floor full of red water that simulates lava through jumps, climbing walls, boxes, ropes, curtains, pot hangers and all sorts of obstacles. The main thing is not to fall. It is sporty, in a good atmosphere, without exaggerated reality drama, without intrigue, without manipulations. Just a few adults playing a simple kids game.

If this sounds silly, it’s because it’s really silly, but also refined fun. The contestants, the presenter and the series itself do not take themselves too seriously, and the result is old-school entertainment in its essence with a bit of modernity. There is also some prize for the winners, but honestly, who cares. For a brief moment this was even the most watched show on Netflix. Now the first five episodes of the second season have gone up, and later on another five are expected to go up, and this season there is also a slippery volcano to climb! So instead of climbing the walls of the house out of boredom, tonight you can watch other people do it, and enjoy every moment.
