Two games are being played tonight (Tuesday) in House 3 of the First Division in the League of Nations. Germany hosts England, Italy meets Hungary.
Germany – England 0: 0 (half)
Gareth Southgate’s team was disappointed in the opening round when they lost 1: 0 to Hungary, Germany also looked bad and finished 1: 1 against the weak Italy in Bologna. Now the two are looking for their first campaign victory in a head-to-head meeting in Munich. In England Raheem Sterling returned to the squad after not playing in the previous game, as did Bukayo Saka. Harry Kane opened the scoring alongside a Manchester City player, who will meet his teammate on the other side Ilkai Gondwan. Jamal Musiala also opened for the Manshaft.
14th minute: Calvin Phillips is injured and forced to come down with a forced substitution, Jude Bellingham replaces him.
23rd minute: A goal by Jonas Hoffman was disqualified on the grounds of dissent, the VAR called the referee for a consultation but the original decision remained and the result remained zero.
27th minute: Manuel Neuer missed a ball that was raised to the field, Harry Kane was unable to take advantage of the fact that the opposing goalkeeper was lying on the floor and kicked to the sky.
45th minute: Jamal Musiala kicked from an extension, but his ball went to the center of the goal and was not strong enough and did not pose a special problem for Jordan Pickford.
Italy – Hungary 0: 2 (half)
The Hungarians opened the campaign with an impressive 0: 1 against England thanks to a penalty by Dominic Suboslay and are currently leading the house which also includes Germany and England. Italy, which lacks a very long list of players, will try to correct the impression from the last few games and the failure to advance to the World Cup in Qatar with a home win.
