The monkeypox is in the country, can the virus still be contained?

Hundreds of infections have been identified outside of Africa since the first case of monkeypox was discovered in the UK last month. And more are added every day, also in our country. According to the WHO, it is uncertain whether the outbreak can still be completely contained.

But, the monkeypox virus will never have the same impact on us as the coronavirus. Yet we should not let ourselves be lulled to sleep, warns the World Health Organization. Science journalists Maxie Eckert explain what to do and what to expect.
