Cricket Association of Pondicherry and DCM The final of the 10-over cricket tournament co-hosted by the company took place today at the Cape-Sigam Ground. The Smashers and the Kings clashed. Batting first, the Smashers scored 113 for 3 in 10 overs. The Kings then went on to win by 114 runs and were bowled out for 65. Mohit Mithun of the Smashers scored 51 runs off 23 balls, including 5 sixes. This was followed by the award ceremony. Cape’s Honorary Secretary Moon presented the trophy to the Smashers.
Co-Secretary Venkatraman presented the prize to the 2nd prize winning Kings team. The function was attended by community members Balamurugan, Ganapathy, actress Nirosha, executives Raju Mehta, Michael and Ramesh.
