Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the gold smuggling case, came out with a new revelation yesterday as the Enforcement Directorate was about to file a final chargesheet in the gold smuggling case. Swapna’s statement reveals the role of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his wife Kamala, daughter Veena, M Sivasankar and KT Jalil in smuggling currency abroad.

Thiruvananthapuram: The police have registered a case against Swapna Suresh and PC George on the complaint of KT Jaleel MLA. The Thiruvananthapuram Cantonment Police has registered a case against Jalil alleging that the allegations of the dream were part of a conspiracy. The case was registered on the legal advice of the Deputy Director of Prosecution.
Swapna Suresh and PC George will be the accused in the case. The case was registered under sections 120B and 153 for conspiracy and attempt to riot. A special team will be appointed to look into Jalil’s complaint. The SIT will be headed by a senior official.

In his complaint, Jalil had said that there was a conspiracy behind the attempt to discredit the Kerala government and the Kerala government, especially Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, politically. The complaint alleges that a conspiracy was hatched under the leadership of PC George two months ago and that George’s audio recording was released yesterday as evidence of this.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and state police chief Anil Kant had met on Wednesday morning following the revelations made by Swapna on Tuesday. Anil Kant was summoned to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Jalil arrived at the station with the complaint shortly after the meeting ended.
According to Jalil’s complaint, after spreading such a lie in the media, they have been carrying out planned riots in various parts of the state. According to the complaint, the two were trying to mislead youths belonging to the UDF and BJP into the streets, attack the police and spread violence across the country.
