‘If Mammootty had not stopped me then I would have gone and crashed in the mirror’, says Malayalam all time beloved actress Parvathy. During the shooting of the movie ‘Carnival’, Parvathy was talking about an incident that escaped only with Mammootty’s presence of mind.
“There is a scene that comes to my mind when I think of Carnival. The shoot is taking place on a ground. Mammootty is driving the jeep. The seat belt program was not as strict then as it is today. I’m sitting in the front seat, very casual. I’m talking about Mammootty’s presence of mind. The car suddenly brakes for some reason and Mammootty first thought of my safety in front. If I apply a sudden brake, I will go somewhere and hit it. Or I would have gone and crashed into the mirror. I did not talk to Mammootty about it, but it still lingers in my mind, ”said Parvathy.
Parvathy is the all time favorite actress of Malayalam. Though not active in acting, Parvathy occasionally returned to the dance floor. Recently, a video of Parvathy stepping on the ramp at a fashion show also caught the attention. Parvathy steps on the ramp with her daughter Malavika at a handloom fashion show organized by Weavers Village on the occasion of the Kerala Games.
