42 women and children were injured this morning (Friday) after a toxic substance penetrated into a public pool in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem.
The condition of the injured is mild – some suffer from respiratory difficulties, eye burns and cough.
Ariel Ben-David, paramedic for the Rescue Union: “Most of the women and girls were evacuated by ambulance to hospitals in Jerusalem, suffering from breathing problems due to inhalation of the toxic substance. Fire crews were operating at the scene and the circumstances of the incident were being investigated.”
