Six thousand square meters of fun, waiting for the fun. This is the super-equipped Visarno Arena at the Hippodrome, for the 4 days of Firenze Rocks. A space set to energy efficiency, to reduce the consumption of water and plastic – only that produced internally will be used and to be totally reused thanks to the Corepla, Comieco and Cial consortia and the bottles of water will be made of recycled material – and to sustainable thanks to a bike sharing service. And with the volunteers of Fridays for Future who will sensitize the public on the correct disposal of waste in the concert area.
Sandwiches and more, also local gastronomic excellences, Indian and Asian and Mexican cuisine, areas equipped for table tennis, table football, video games, a Formula 1 simulator for several players at the same time, a children’s area with creative workshops, barber, hairdresser, tattoo artist, a safe deposit for objects and cell phone recharging, shaded and relaxation areas, nebulizing tunnels to cool off, first aid areas. Everything you could wish for.
It is forbidden to enter the arena with alcohol or plastic bottles larger than 0.5 liters, and even those that fall within the parameters must be without caps, as well as fake weapons and other offending objects, flammable materials and chemicals, fireworks and firecrackers, animals (except trained guide and assistance dogs), poles, poles, sticks, umbrellas, large cameras and selfie sticks, drones, skates, skateboards, devices such as power banks or laser pointers , suitcases and backpacks larger than 15 liters, stadium horns, spray cans, tents and sleeping bags, musical instruments, audio / video recording equipment, ipads and tablets.
The concert area is accessed from six different entrances: from Viale degli Olmi for those who have red, yellow and silver tickets, from Piazza Puccini for the orange ticket and from Piazzale delle Cascine for the blue and green. The festival ticket office is also located in the same square. During the 4 days the park will be closed to vehicular traffic but buses (line 17) and tramways will be upgraded.
