The Hapoel Holon basketball team won the state championship tonight (Thursday) for the second time in the team’s history. For Holon coach Guy Goodes, this is his first win as a coach.
The Minister of Culture and Sports, Hili Troper, congratulated the team on its victory and said: “Congratulations to Hapoel Holon, which won the basketball Premier League championship tonight. Congratulations to the team, players, coach and team managers. Well done!”
