Chikballapur: A complaint has been lodged with the Chikballapur SP against a government bus conductor who allegedly defrauded a bus passenger of Rs 45 lakh.
Ashwattamma, 45, lives near the Siddheswara Swamy Temple in the Eighth Ward of Chikballapur.
Just a few months ago, he went to the Bangalore Majestic bus stand to visit the Saudeswari Amman Temple in Chintanur, Raichur district.

He mortgaged his house and bought a total of 45 lakh rupees from the neighbors and gave it to the conductor. The phone did not report the correct information.
He therefore lodged a complaint against the conductor at the Chikkaballapur police station and it is said that they did not take any action. Dissatisfied with this, he has now lodged a complaint with the SP, Mithun Kumar. After receiving the complaint, the SP directed the Chikkaballapura police station SI, Mune Gowda, to immediately arrest the conductor and take action.
