We will not hesitate to launch war on Taiwan – Chinese Minister warns

The United States has repeatedly accused China of invading Taiwan, which borders China. US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin met with Chinese Defense Minister Wei Feng at the Shangri-La Security Summit in Singapore.

During the meeting, the two discussed the Taiwan issue. Then-US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin urged China to refrain from destabilizing Taiwan.

Wei Feng responded that Taiwan is considered part of China. China will not hesitate to wage war on Taiwan if it dares to secede from it. Moreover, the use of Taiwan by some countries to control China will never succeed. China will defeat Taiwan’s independence and ensure the country’s integration.
