In the shadow of heavy criticism against the leaders of France, Germany and Italy for an overly ‘soft’ attitude towards Russia, the three leaders Macron, Schultz and Draghi (respectively) are expected to visit Kiev together in the coming weeks. This was first reported on the German news site Bild.
Against the three, there is strong criticism, especially from Ukraine – after calling for a ceasefire agreement with Russia along the way, even at a time when Ukraine was at a disadvantage in the war.
In addition, according to the allegations against the three, the leaders of the excellent European countries put economic considerations before the considerations of the sanctions on Russia which makes the imposition of sanctions on Russia much more difficult and complex work.
The line taken by the three leaders is considered to be the complete opposite of the main line led by US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
As mentioned, in an attempt to show some solidarity with Ukraine, the three leaders will arrive in the coming weeks for a joint visit to the Ukrainian capital where they will meet with President Volodymyr Zelsky.
