‘Russia ready to use deadly weapons in war’- Dinamani

by time news

Britain has warned that Russia is preparing to use deadly old weapons as its stockpile of modern weapons to strike precisely in the Ukraine war is dwindling.

According to British Defense Ministry officials:

The war in Ukraine is far more intense than Russia has always been. Despite the occupation of new territories by Russian forces in eastern Ukraine, their progress has been very slow.

Due to this, the stockpile of weapons such as grenades, artillery shells and missiles is increasing in both Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine says its stockpile of weapons is depleting and it is no longer dependent on weapons sent by Western nations.

Russia is preparing to deploy high-velocity missiles developed in the 1960s in Ukraine as its stockpile of modern weapons dwindles.

The missiles, called KH-22, were designed to attack and destroy large aircraft carriers carrying nuclear weapons.

They mount conventional bombs on those missiles and inflict enormous damage when they hit ground targets.

Due to the use of old technologies in the KH-22 missiles weighing 5.5 tons, those missiles will not hit the targets as accurately as the modern missiles currently being fired by Russia.

Thus, there is a risk that the missiles will fall on residential areas instead of military targets, killing large numbers of innocent civilians, officials said.

However, they did not disclose where Russia had brought the KH-22 missiles for use in Ukraine.

Firearms: The governor of the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine, Zhoi Haitai, has accused the Russian military of using firearms.

Although it is not illegal to use firearms on the battlefields, Hoydai said large numbers of civilian homes have been set on fire by Russian missiles fired in the villages of Luhansk.

However, this information could not be confirmed by the neutral media.

Russia has said that joining Ukraine, a close ally of NATO, is a threat to its national security. However, the current Ukrainian government, led by Volodymy Selensky, has expressed interest in the Internet in NATO.

In this context, Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he has sent troops to the eastern Ukraine to protect the people of the Donbass region, which is controlled by pro-Russian forces, and to suppress the Ukrainian military and pro-Nazi forces in the state.

However, Russian troops were unable to advance beyond the capital, Kiev, due to fierce opposition from the Ukrainian military. Since then, Russian troops have retreated and advanced on southern and eastern Ukraine.

It has been 108 days since the start of the war, and British officials say they are preparing to use more deadly old weapons as modern weapons become available to Russian troops.

‘Selensky did not listen’

US President Joe Biden has said that Russia’s invaders will not heed his warning that Russia will invade Ukraine.

Speaking at an event in Los Angeles, Biden said:

I have no doubt that Putin is going to invade Ukraine. Selensky did not want to hear my warning about it.

“Until the Russian invasion, many people thought I was exaggerating this issue,” Biden said.
