Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan make headlines for the first time since their marriage. The two met the media persons at the Taj Club House Hotel in Chennai. The two thanked the media for accepting their invitation and requested their support in the future.
“I’m so glad you all came here. The support you have given me so far is so great. We are now married. We still need your support and blessings,” Nayantara said. Vignesh started by saying that he first met Nayantara at the same hotel. “It was at this hotel that I first met Nayantara and told her the story. It feels like a fantastic experience to see you here today. I look forward to your support and blessings for our future professional careers,” Vignesh said.

The couple got married on the ninth day at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Mahabalipuram. A large number of celebrities including Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajith Kumar, Vijay and Surya were present at the wedding and the subsequent banquet. The banquet table was as crowded as that star. Guests were treated to a variety of Kerala and Tamil dishes. There were reports that Nayantara had given a bungalow worth Rs 20 crore as a wedding gift to Vignesh. The couple had visited the Tirupati temple the day after their marriage. Nayanthara and Vignesh have been married for seven years.
