Eli Bar-Yosef has been appointed Deputy CEO of the Port of Ashdod. A search committee has already been established to elect a new CEO on a regular basis.

After the departure of the port’s CEO, Moshe Jeanne, was appointed interim CEO of the Port of Ashdod. This is Eli Bar-Yosef, who has served for the past 12 years as VP of Clients at the Port of Ashdod.

At the same time, last week, the Ashdod Port Board of Directors approved the appointment of CFO Daniel Smidovsky – former head of the finance department at the rank of VP of Union Bank.

The Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Yigal Makdashi, former VP of Operations at Tena Noga and Operations Manager at Shamir Salads, to the position of VP of Operations at the Port of Ashdod.

“The Port of Ashdod Board of Directors is working hard to strengthen the administrative boulevard in the Port of Ashdod so that it can meet the challenges and competition expected with the opening of the new ports,” the Port of Ashdod said.

The Board of Directors also convened this morning (Sunday) to approve the establishment of a search committee for the appointment of a new CEO for the Port of Ashdod.
