The German navy operates an unmanned naval helicopter model V-200 SKELDAR on the warship ‘Braunschweig’, thus adding to the warship a built-in capability of observation and intelligence gathering in a future naval combat arena.

NAVAL LOOKOUT reports that the British Royal Navy is also stable aboard the ship ‘Lancaster’, which will sail to the Persian Gulf, an unmanned naval helicopter, which is part of the RWUAS project.

The new British naval helicopter is made by Leonardo UK, and its mission, according to the British Ministry of Defense, is to assist in naval operations and maintain the safety and security of crews and vessels in a future naval war scene.
