Tragic news about going to pick up daughter; Malayalee medical student drowns in Russia

Pazhayannur (Thrissur): Relatives received information that a medical student from Elanad had drowned in Russia. Femi Chandra (24), daughter of Chandran and Jayasree, died at Puthenpura, Elanad East.

MBBS from Smolensk State Medical University. The relatives were informed that he had fallen into the lake while going for a picnic with his friends after completing his studies. However, relatives said no exact information was available.

The accident happened on June 30, when the family was about to leave for Russia with their daughter. Femi returned home to Russia last June. Brother: Varun.
