The two arrived in Kerala on June 12. The trip was to see his family in Thiruvalla. This is my first post-wedding visit to Kerala.
The couple got married on June 9 at a resort in Mahabalipuram, Chennai. Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, actors Surya, Vijay Sethupathi, Karthi, Sarath Kumar, directors Mani Ratnam, KS Ravikumar and producer Bonnie Kapoor were present.
The OTD had given the company the rights to film the wedding, so the sticker was hidden, including the guests’ mobile phone cameras. Access to the beach at the back of the resort was blocked for security. Director Gautham Menon directed the wedding shoot. The main attraction of the party was the chukka biryani called Kaathal Biryani. Ilanir Payasam was also prepared in Kerala style. Food was distributed to one lakh people in different parts of Tamil Nadu.
