A US company is offering homeowners $ 2,000 to allow 100 different types of insects to be released into their homes. The company wants to test a “specific pest control technique” and see how effective it is.
A company from North Carolina, USA, is offering homeowners $ 2,000 to allow 100 different types of insects to be released into their homes.
Five to seven homeowners will be selected for research after registration, and will allow the company to “release about 100 American cockroaches into your home, and give us permission to photograph and test specific insect treatment.” At the end of the study, if the cockroach plague does not go away, the company says it will use “traditional cockroach treatment options at no cost.”
In order to be eligible for the study, homeowners must meet the following requirements:
1. You must be the owner of the home or get written approval from the homeowner.
You must be 21 or older to be eligible.
3. You must be located within the United States.
4. Do not attempt further pesticide attempts during the study.
5. The study will last a total of 30 days, and according to the company, the insect treatments used are safe for family and animals.
