Tovino Thomas is an actor who has found a place in Malayalam cinema through his hard work. Easy to fight, romance, mass and comedy, Tovino found it difficult to dance. But recently, Tovino shocked the audience with his killer dance number to the song “Pettole in the eye” from the movie Thallumala.
Tovino says that he does not see the inability to dance as a defect and that he dances with a passion for cinema. The actor’s response was in an interview with Variety Media.
‘I was a tough guy to dance to and fight and stand out in the crowd. Dance is also done with an endless passion for cinema. Dance was very much needed for the movie Thallumala. It’s not just a dance number added. I’m not sure what to do with it.
I was inspired by director Khalid Rahman, screenwriter Muhsin Perari and music director Vishnu Vijay, whom I trust very much. If you look at the costume you brought, it looks like a dance, ‘said Tovino.
Tovino also recounted his experience four years ago when he danced for his mother’s organization show.
‘I said as much as I could that it’s hard for me to dance on stage. Didn’t hear that, so the video below has been getting ridiculed for the past few days. Those who forced me to dance must have been very happy.
