Kuwait City: Kuwait announces holidays related to Eid al-Fitr. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on Monday. The official announcement is that the holiday will be from Sunday, July 10 to Thursday, July 14 to celebrate the Feast of Sacrifice and the Day of Arafa.
This holiday is applicable to all Ministries and Government Institutions in the country. It has been announced that the operation of government institutions will resume on Sunday, July 17 after the holiday. Although a five-day holiday has been officially announced from Sunday to Thursday, government agencies will get a total of nine days off, including weekends on Fridays and Saturdays. Kuwait also becomes the first Gulf country to declare Eid al-Fitr holidays this year.
The number of domestic Hajj pilgrims has crossed four lakh
Riyadh: The number of local and foreign pilgrims applying for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage from within Saudi Arabia has crossed four lakh. Hisham al-Saeed, a spokesman for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, made the announcement.
One and a half lakh people will have the opportunity to perform Hajj from Saudi this year. Domestic Hajj registration has started from the 3rd of this month. Registration can be done through the website https://localhaj.haj.gov.sa/LHB/pages/signup.xhtml. Pilgrims will be selected through an electronic lottery from those who have registered. Candidates will have to pay within 48 hours of receiving the notification.

At the same time, package rates for domestic Hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia have been reduced. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the new rates yesterday. There are three packages for domestic pilgrims. All three have had their rates reduced.
