Fifteen thousand sheep drowned when their ship capsized during a voyage in Sudan.

The ship was to carry 15,800 goats from the Sudanese port of Suwakin to Saudi Arabia.

Fifteen of the ship’s sheep drowned in this unexpected accident. 780 goats were rescued during the long rescue operation.

Coast officials said the ship, which was carrying only 9,000 sheep, was carrying 15,800 sheep.
