Nochi Dankner in a huge deal that will change the face of world agriculture

The company has been working for about a year and a half in research and development, together with scientists in the fields of animal nutrition and agronomists from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University and the Volcanic Institute. Hoshen Foodtech has developed a new variety of green fodder – a variety of sprouts used to feed cattle, sheep, goats and other farm animals. The company operates in Israel in a model of partnerships with kibbutzim, moshavim and food centers.

Erez Pinkas, the farm center at Kibbutz Saar in the Western Galilee, claimed that during experiments on cows in the kibbutz’s barn, excellent results were obtained, including a drop in milk yield and an increase in the number of cattle to visit within a week. Green fodder is supposed to allow the growth of cattle and sheep and later also poultry, which will be richer in protein and healthier for human consumption.

Al Dankner is also a member of Saar Bracha, former CEO of TAHAL (Water Planning for Israel), but Dankner is the largest shareholder in the company, which also includes his father, Yitzhak Dankner. The company’s team also includes Dankner’s son-in-law, Tal Englander. Dankner and his father have invested tens of millions of shekels in Hoshen Podtech and it is also in advanced contacts with partnerships with business entities in several countries besides Israel.
