Collector Balasubramaniam has asked the public to view the three-day Weaving Summer Festival at Coastal Silver Beach, Kadalur. Collector Balasubramaniam presides. Minister Panneer Selvam initiates. Game Match Opener
The games started yesterday ahead of the summer festival at Coastal Silver Beach. Corporation Mayor Sundari Raja attended and inaugurated the competition. There were separate beach handball and kabaddi competitions for men and women. The competitions were conducted by District Sports Officer Siva. Teams from different parts of the district participated. The winners will be presented with prizes and certificates at the opening ceremony of the summer festival tomorrow.
