Chennai: Actress Nayanthara and director Vighnesh Sivan’s marriage again in controversy. The complaint against the marriage was accepted by the National Human Rights Commission. The couple got married on June 9 at the Star Hotel on ECR Road, Mahabalipuram, Chennai. Strict restrictions were imposed after the wedding was handed over to a private event management company.

More than a hundred private bodyguards were deployed around the wedding venue. Guests are allowed in only after the barcode on the wedding invitation has been scanned. Due to more stringent restrictions, the public and the media were not even allowed on the road outside the hostel.

Earlier, it was reported that the public had an altercation with a private security guard after he was denied entry to the public even through the beach behind the Star Hotel.

Social activist Saravanan has lodged a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) alleging that Nayantara Vignesh’s marriage has even disrupted public relations. The beach is a public place near the resort where Nayantara and Vighnesh Shiva got married. The complaint alleges that not allowing the public to enter the area is a human rights violation. The petition was accepted by the National Human Rights Commission for hearing.
