Orpea condemned for negligence after the death of a patient

The private group of Ehpad Orpea was condemned for negligence on an elderly disabled person who died after being hospitalized for an unexplained double fracture of the femurs, announced, Thursday June 16, the court of Nanterre, requested by Agence France-Presse .

The court recalled “the legal obligation of nursing homes to ensure the dignity, integrity and safety of people holding residence contracts, and the principle of their responsibility”according to a press release.
