Contacts with Europe are no longer a “priority”. This was stated to the broadcaster NTV by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, relaunched by the Russian news agency Tass.

“We have always worked with the West and the East, the North and the South. Since the West has cut off all contacts, we have objectively worked with the East as before.
