Indian team announces 37-ball Dinamani

The 37-man squad, including Neeraj Chopra, was announced on Thursday to take part in the Commonwealth Games.

The squad, announced by the Athletics Federation of India, will include 19 players and 18 athletes. Notable among them are Avinash Saple, who recently broke the national record for the 8th time in the 3000m steeplechase, Jyoti Yaraji, the two-time national record holder in the 100m hurdles, and Aishwarya Babu, who broke the national record in the triple jump.

Along with them are Tamil Nadu runners S. Dhanalakshmi, Naganathan Pandi and three time jumper Praveen Chitravel. Among the defeated competitors, those who have to prove their fitness and those who have competed abroad are the only other athletes to train in the United States.
