‘Mamanithan’ is a Tamil film written and directed by Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and RK Suresh’s Studio 9 under the banner of YSR Productions. Vijay Sethupathi will play the lead role in the film. Mamanithan is a commercial film that feels as emotional as 96 films starring Vijay Sethupathi. Gayatri, KPAC Lalitha and Guru Somasundaram are the other actors in the film. The film is set to release on June 24.
The film is set in a rural setting. Gayathri is the heroine of Vijay Sethupathi in the film. The two will act together in the eighth film. The two have acted together in films like Kanom in the Middle, Rummy, Puriyatha Puthir, A Good Tomorrow’s Path Solren, Sitakathi and Super Deluxe. The film also stars child actor Manasvi from Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi’s co – starrer Imaika Nodikal. Riya Shibu’s HR Pictures is directing the film in Kerala under the direction of producer Shibu Tameen. Vijay Sethupathi, Yuvan Shankar Raja, RK Suresh, Gayathri and Seenu Ramaswamy will be participating in the promotion of the film on June 18 at Lulu Mall, Kochi on the evening of June 18.
