Heavy heat in Kansas that reaches 43 degrees has led to the deaths of thousands of cows. Shocking documentation shows rows of cattle heads lying dead on the arid ground

In hard documentation from Kansas, USA, thousands of cows are seen lying on the ground lifeless following a heavy heat wave that hit the state. A Kansas animal union spokesman said a heat stroke killed the cattle as temperatures and humidity rose over the weekend and chilling winds disappeared. Reported temperatures began to exceed the 43-degree mark on June 11th.

Over the past month, the National Drought Institute has issued two warnings that the northwestern and northwestern regions of Kansas are facing drought conditions.

The deaths add pain to the U.S. cattle industry as producers have reduced herds due to the drought and faced food costs that have risen as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will increase global grain supplies.
