How to order food online during train journey?

by time news

For the convenience of passengers traveling on high speed trains operated by Indian Railways, IRCTCE also provides food service. Some high speed trains like Rajdhani offer food to all passengers at no extra charge.

Even though Indian Railways caters to the food needs of train passengers in many ways, is it even more special to order and eat the food we want online, just like at home?

Therefore, IRCTC’s e-catering service will fulfill that opportunity as well. That is, if you order the food you want through this service, the food will arrive at your seat when the train you are traveling in stops at the next train station.

Happy to hear that? Yes this is true. So, while traveling by train, do not know how to order food online?

Some important things about this project
When ordering food for you, you must have a confirmed or waiting train ticket. PNR number, details of the train will have to be recorded.

With e-Catering, you can pay for the food you order online or in person.

The facility is currently only open from 6am to 10pm.

In case your train arrives late or food is not provided, you will be reimbursed in full.
