Marin Cilic (17th) in half at Queen’s. The Croatian, double winner of Queen’s (2012 and 2018), semi-finalist at Roland-Garros and ex-world No.3, dismissed Finland’s Emil Ruusuvuori (56th) 7-6 (7/), 6-4 on Friday, he who is playing his first grass court tournament of the season. The 2017 Wimbledon finalist thus signed his 80th victory on grass. Only four other players have reached this mark: Roger Federer (192), Andy Murray (114), Novak Djokovic (102) and Feliciano Lopez (85).

For a place in the final, he will face the Serbian Filip Krajinovic (48th) who hardly put an end to the astonishing course of the Briton Ryan Peniston (180th and who notably fell in the first round of the Roland-Garros finalist Casper Ruud)) 4- 6, 6-3, 6-3.
