As mentioned, during the episode in question, Cooper revealed that he was addicted, especially in the first years of his career, to cocaine. ‘It took me a few years to get out of it. I was completely lost and a serious addict. “My self-esteem was on the floor,” the actor shared. He added that he had moved to Los Angeles, where he felt ostracized. “I was not allowed into any club, women did not look at me,” he explained.
‘I was severely depressed, right up to the point where I was in a movie on the way to a wedding stopping in Vegas. So I was 36 and had to go through it all before I really broke out. It all happened then, ‘he added. Finally he shared how he managed to quit and get out of the severe addiction: ‘I went through quite a bit and developed in the years between the ages of 29 and 34, I realized that I was already able to stand in front of people, to listen.
