There are 5,009 new Coronavirus infections today, June 17, 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 6 deaths have been recorded. In the last 24 hours, 27,980 swabs, including molecular and antigenic, were processed, with a positivity rate of 17.9%. The number of people admitted to intensive care has dropped to 17, one less than yesterday, while the number of patients in ordinary Covid wards has increased by 21, today 526.
In the province of Milan there are 1,976 new cases, of which 919 in the capital city. Followed by the province of Bresca with 563 infections, Monza and Brianza with 539, Bergamo with 308, Varese with 265 and Pavia with 248. The provinces of Como and Lecco recorded 193 new cases each, that of Mantua 189, Cremona 130, Sondrio 101 and Lauds 92.
