New Delhi: Chief of Air Staff VR Chaudhary has issued a warning against Agneepath protesters. In an interview with India Today, the Chief of Air Staff said that the candidates participating in the agitation will not get police clearance later. He also reminded that those who want jobs related to defense will have to pay a heavy price in the future if they engage in such struggles.
Strongly condemns the agitation. This is not a solution to anything. The last step in getting a job in the military is police verification. “If anyone is involved in such a strike, they will not get clearance from the police,” he said. VR Chaudhary said the Agneepath project was a positive step and if anyone had any doubts about it, they should contact the nearest military bases or the Air Force and Navy.
Meanwhile, high-profile protests in northern India spread to southern India on Friday. Violence was widespread in ten states. Apart from the northern states of Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, the protests also turned violent in Telangana.
One of the police firing died in the police firing in Telangana. Three people were injured in the clash and were rushed to hospital. The agitation is being led by youths and those who have completed their military recruitment process and are awaiting appointment.
