Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva has announced that the Jaffna International Airport will commence service from July 1.
Arrangements will be made to welcome international flights and he expects flights from countries including India to arrive.

He also said that diaspora Tamils could visit their homeland directly by air.
