New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday took a dig at the country’s agitating protests. Sonia Gandhi has said that the plan should be withdrawn and that she stands firm with those who want military service. Sonia Gandhi is currently receiving treatment at the Sonia Gandhi Hospital. The statement also supported the protesters.

The new military recruitment plan is a directionless one. In a statement, Sonia Gandhi said the government was “helpless” not to hear the voices of protesters and that it had announced such a plan without understanding the interests of those seeking military service.

In a statement, Sonia Gandhi said, “We can speak out peacefully without violence.”
