International Javelin Throw: Neeraj Chopra wins gold

by time news

Neeraj Chopra, India’s gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, competes in the International Javelin Throw Championship in Finland. In the first opportunity he threw a distance of 86.69 meters. He ‘bowled’ on the next opportunity and stumbled on the third opportunity. However fortunately escaped unscathed. Did not throw the spear in the last 3 chances. However Neeraj Chopra was unable to break the distance thrown by the other players on the first try.

Thus, the first favorite Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal. 2012 Olympic champion Trinidad’s Guesshorn (86.64m) won the silver and world champion Anderson Peters of Granada (84.75m) won the bronze. Chopra is training in Finland for the next Diamond League match.
