“The war in Ukraine could last for years”. This was said by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview published today by the German newspaper Bild. “I fear we need to prepare for a long war,” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a speech in the Sunday Times. “Time – he highlights – is a vital factor. Everything will depend on whether Ukraine manages to strengthen its ability to defend the territory faster than Russia can renew its attack capacity”.
