India lost 2-3 in the second match of the FIH Pro League Women’s Hockey Tournament against Argentina on Sunday.

Salima Tede scored for India in the 23rd minute and Delphine Thom opened the scoring for Argentina in the 38th minute. The team then conceded two penalty corners in the 41st and 43rd minutes, with Evgenia Trincineti and Augustina Corsilani scoring respectively to give Argentina a 3-1 lead.

Deep Grace Eka scored the second goal for India in the 46th minute. However, Argentina eventually won because they did not have a chance to score in the remaining minutes. The Indian women’s team will face the United States in the next match on the 21st and 22nd.

Men’s team loses: Meanwhile, the Indian men’s team lost 1-4 to the Netherlands in a shootout on Saturday night. Earlier in the day, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
