Kuwait City: 87 minors have been arrested for driving without a license. An inspection conducted from June 11 to 17 in various governorates of the country found 30,217 violations. The Department of Transportation said it had identified 71 serious violations. The highest number of violations were reported in the governorates of Jahra, Ahmadi and Farwaniya. The Department of Transportation has repeatedly warned children not to drive.

Authorities warn that if unlicensed children are caught driving, they will be prosecuted under the Juvenile Law and the owner of the vehicle will be subject to disciplinary action, including fines.
