Plane protest: Sujith’s anticipatory bail postponed – KERALA – GENERAL

Kochi: The anticipatory bail application of Sujith Narayanan, the third accused in the case of attempting to attack the Chief Minister inside the Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Indigo flight, has been shifted to the High Court today. When the bench of Justice Viju Abraham heard the petition yesterday, the government argued that he should be questioned in custody and not granted anticipatory bail. He also asked for time to explain his bail application.

The first two accused in the case are Farseen Majeed (27) from Mattannur, Thalassery and RK from Pattanur, Thalassery. Naveen (37)’s bail application is being considered by the high court today.

Thiruvananthapuram Valiyathura police have registered a case against the accused in the June 13 incident, including attempted murder.
