The Logistiker company from the Maman Group, a leader in logistics solutions and outsourcing, reported a deal with Amot Investments as part of a lease of 24,500 square meters in Marlog in the Lavi industrial zone in Beit Shemesh. The deal was signed for a period of 10 years with an option for another 5 years, the scope of the 10-year deal is over NIS 140 million.

About a year ago, Amot announced a deal in the field of initiating and establishing logistics centers, as part of the implementation of the company’s growth strategy. Amot purchased 60% of land of about 40.5 dunams in Beit Shemesh, in exchange for a total of about NIS 53.5 million.

Beit Shemesh, located near the main cities in Israel, has doubled in the last decade, and currently houses about 150,000 residents, along with intensive construction, which is expected to add another 100,000 residents to the city in the next five years. Now, alongside the rapidly expanding city, the city’s industrial areas are also developing, after many years of planning. The boiling logistics and industrial land market in Beit Shemesh, where large transactions of large companies in Israel have been published in the past year, including giant companies such as Amot, Azrieli, Reit 1, and recently joined by the retail giant Fox, which announced its intention to establish a business, trade and logistics center. Approximately 100,000 square meters, in cooperation with the Mega Or group.
