Jeddah: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced a list of items that pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia should avoid carrying on air travel. Prohibited tools include scissors, knives, sharp blades, hammers, wrenches, nail cutters and drilling tools, the ministry said.

Avoid bringing such items on a flight to Saudi Arabia. The ministry said all types of firearms, including bullets, stun guns and firecrackers, should not carry poisonous, flammable or compressed materials.
