Our friendship was going well. Then one day I gave up my friendship with that guy. Truth be told, I returned that ring. That guy is a good cricketer; Crack bowler. In anger he threw the ring on the road. That’s when I last saw that ring. The ring had fallen into a stable near the road. I thought no one would have seen that ring after that.

The ring that was returned 20 years later …

When I met that guy’s sister 20 years later, she was wearing that ring. When he spoke to me, he said, “Do you remember Jenny?
