Shafir currently serves as chairman of the Green Movement, followed by six years as MKs in the Labor Party. She is about to receive another honorable mention now thanks to her partner, Steve’s son who took off into space last April and became only the second Israeli astronaut in history.

Steve returned to Earth last April after completing his mission on SpaceX’s Axiom Mission 1 flight. During his stay in space, Steve completed his mission and even got to his feet after returning from space and his physical condition looked good, even though prior to landing he lost contact with the space flight on which Steve was, but the connection was renewed a few minutes later and he returned safely to Earth.
